The Vertical Annular Jet Pump is specially designed for rapid slurrification of bulk, powdered products such as barite. In operation, the volute of the Vertical Annular Jet Pump is pressurized with fluid through a full 2 inch / 50 mm feed inlet, where the velocity of the entering fluid is converted into rotational energy. Low pressure is also generated in the Vertical Annular Jet Pump, which causes a vacuum. The rotational energy and vacuum combine to create a strong vortex, which draws in, separates and pre-wets individual powder particles as they enter the jet pump. |
