Designed to work in the toughest environments, Vortex™ Surge Tanks and vessels are internally and externally sandblasted, primed and epoxy coated for maximum corrosion protection from seawater. The internal coating system provides a slick, non-adhering surface that enhances uniform flow of barite and bentonite without arching, bridging and plugging.
Vortex Surge Tanks are available in a range of capacities and configurations to accommodate confined spaces, existing pipe arrangement and equipment location. Tanks and vessels are available with various tank head and cone section designs. Our surge tanks can also be equipped with load cells for precise loss-of-weight in digital and are available with bin level indicators featuring explosion-proof lights that indicate when the tank is near full or near empty.
