Sight Glasses are used in high speed mixing systems for two reasons. First, they allow visual inspection to guarantee that the blending process is occurring without fault. Second, they give the operator a visual indicator of when the operation is complete. This is helpful when a manual control response, such as closing a valve, is required.
Full View Sight Glasses are constructed in clear, high density, abrasion resistant, molded urethane. They come standard with grooved, clamp style connections and can be adjusted with flanged adapters to fit easily into any standard piping. The 6 inch models are offered in standard and 45 degree elbow versions, and 6 x 4 inch reducers are available as well. |
