| The MIXMATE™
is a mixing device for safely handling and mixing aggressive, hazardous
chemical, such as caustic soda and soda ash. |
The Turbine Trimixer |
| The TRIMIXER
IMPELLER generates a turbulent swirl that provides rapid volume turnover
and mixing for chemical dissolution and uniform blending. |
| Caustic
Soda Bag(s) are emptied into the tank. A safety cover is closed and
secured before adding water in the tank. Level of water in tank can
be observed through a sight glass. When filling tank, overflow valve
should be open as a precaution against leakage. Overflow |
| should
be routed to active fluids system. |
| The
rotation of the TRIMIXER generates a vortex, drawing the surrounding
liquid into the impeller. The induction of fluid into the TRIMIXER
produces dynamic interfacial stretching and folding of a product with
the liquid. |
| The
blade pitch of the power turbine promotes constant re-circulation
and suspension while the mixture is fed into the mixing chamber of
the LOBESTAR®
SHEAR/MIXER. |
| The
MIXMATE™ provides a safe means in mixing and metering strong
chemicals, such as caustic soda to a fluids system. |
