  Dust generated while mixing drilling fluid products in drilling rig mud rooms can be prevented with the DUAL SUCTION LOBESTAR® shear mixer. The DUST CONTAINMENT ASSEMBLY provides a hermetic seal between the SURGE TANK (teardrop) and the LOBESTAR® shear mixer.                                     V-SLIDE SURGE HOPPER DIMENSIONS
  The V-SLIDE SURGE HOPPER provides a continuous and uniform mass-flow of powders and granular materials. This is accomplished by the internal geometric configuration of the V-SLIDE. The elliptical shape interrupts the uniform stress that is inherent in a circular discharge on Surge Tanks and Silos. Changing the circumferential stress prevents bridging and “ratholing” that inhibits the continuous flow of bulk solids.
 
 
 
 
 
                                   
  The V-SLIDE SURGE HOPPER coupled with the LOBESTAR® shear mixer effectively and significantly decrease mixing time in the building, maintaining, and increasing density of drilling fluids.
