Effective blending and mixing are an essential part of everyday operations within the soil washing and land remediation industry. Specific application requirements may vary but the ultimate achievement is to have a homogenous product. The LOBESTAR® MIXING EDUCTOR is effective in speed mixing most powders and granular materials without the inherent problems in the clumping of undissolved product. The LOBESTAR® NOZZLE is completely recessed out of the mixing chamber, providing an obstruction free passageway that eliminates plugging in the shear mixer. The LOBESTAR® MIXING EDUCTOR and LOBESTAR® NOZZLE can be sized to meet your requirement and are available in standard pipe sizes from 1" to 6".

The industry is constantly looking for improvements in the separation of solids and liquids. The Vortex Ventures 10" SPINTOP™ HYDROCYCLONE provides innovations to an old technology that improves efficiency by conserving imparted energy in its Hydrocyclone design. Hydrocyclones are density separators that convert pressure energy into rotational momentum. The rotational momentum provides the centrifugal force to separate solids from a primary liquid. Separation efficiency is determined by the Hydrocyclone geometrical parameters. The interaction between the parameters dictate the Hydrocyclone efficiency. It is essential that the geometry of each internal component is designed to promote a smooth transition in maintaining laminar flow.

The 10" SPINTOP™ HYDROCYCLONE has four outstanding features that are unique in comparison with conventional Hydrocyclones. (1) Involuted feed, (2) a Bell shaped Vortex Finder, (3) a Solid Center Core, and (4) a 10" Conical Shaped Body.

Hydrocyclones are used in numerous manufacturing processes requiring filtering and or separation. They are used alone and are coupled in parallel or series configurations. Radial Eductor™ (Tank Eductors)

A centrifugal pump is used to pressurize the Radial Eductor. Static pressure is converted to high velocity as the slurry passes through the jet nozzle orifice.
